General Requirements
All submissions must meet the following requirements to be considered for review:
- Must include proper credits given to all contributors.
- Must include social handles and links.
- If applicable, must include list of sources with links.
- Accepted formats for written pieces are PDF, TXT, and DOCX/DOC files.
- Visual media is accepted in AI, PSD, AF, JPG, PNG, TIFF, and WEBP.
Magazine
Our magazine publication accepts submissions from independent writers and artists. Please submit your completed piece to submissions@9realmsmedia.com with your name and social handles. The subject line should be, “Magazine Submission.”
Our team will review your submissions, and you can expect a response within two weeks.
The Crimson Letter
An educational news platform that explores social movements around the world. Currently accepting submissions. Topics include:
- Workers Rights Movement
- Social Justice and Human Rights
- Climate Change
- Economics
- …and more.
Also accepting art and short comics.
The Crimson Letter is a collaborative work with Solidarity Television, available on YouTube and Spotify. Please check out their channel for more great work.
All credits are given to contributors. Find them by their social handles given at the bottom of their piece.

Blog Submissions
Our online blog accepts submissions from independent writers and artists. Please include your completed piece to submissions@9realmsmedia.com with your name, a short bio, and your social handles. The subject line should read, “Blog Submission.”
We accept 3 types of written pieces:
Reviews
Must be media related. Must be a minimum of 300 words. Include photographs and links.
Tutorials
Must be media related. No complicated industry jargon. Include a clear step-by-step process that is easy to follow and identify.
Event Announcement
Must be media related. Include the event name, hosts, location, photographs, event details. Minimum of 200 words. Maximum of 600 words.

Can I review a book you didn’t publish?
Yes, we accept reviews for works published by others.
Do you publish international writers?
We accept submissions from around the world. All that we ask is that your submission is in English. There’s no translators on staff at this time.
Can I become a staff writer?

Will you publish textbooks and self-help guides?
No, these are not publications that we accept at this time.
